Developer Reflections: Holiday Themed Assets

As it's seasonally appropriate, here are some of the very first custom Minecraft Education entities I ever created. They were originally made for a fun Christmas themed activity for a school board in Ontario, Canada, while I was still in a full time IT career. Frosty Ice Giant Frosty and the Ice Giant are essentially modified versions of the Minecraft Snowman and Iron Golem, while Santa and Mrs. Claus, are entirely new NPCs. The Christmas tree was developed later on and was my first attempt at a texture animated entity (special thank-you to Brian Dickman from Cleverlike Studios Inc. for helping me navigate that process!) These entities have made appearances in several Minecraft projects (sometimes as hidden "Easter Eggs"), but also my Christmas themed Holiday World and most recently in Ellie Finch 's PlayMode Academy Sandtray World.
