Sandtray World Reflections: 70s Style Car

While developing assets for Ellie Finch's PlayMode Academy Sandtray Therapy Minecraft Education world, we very much wanted to have a wide range of vehicles (tractor and bicycle previously posted) that would hopefully appeal to everyone, and would effuse positive vibes. 

When searching for inspiration for our car, I quickly decided that I would avoid modern cars. I felt that most modern cars all have very similar cold, impersonal aesthetics, and that they lack the kind of unique personality that vehicles had in decades past. So, down memory lane I went, and came across inspiration: our family's first car, a 1970s Vauxhall Valiant. 

To me, it's always just looked like a happy wee car and I remember it fondly.

Of course, as a toddler, I was of course blissfully unaware that it was always on the verge of breaking down, was under constant repair, and was frequently the cause of much cursing from anyone who had the misfortune of driving it.  

Well, now you can drive your very own 70s Valiant inspired car (in British racing car green) without any of the anxiety of it breaking down. It also comes equipped with a radio/8-track deck!

I still think it's a happy looking wee car.
